Joel Negin

Joel Negin has extensive experience in managing development projects and in global health policy. He recently moved to Australia after spending three years working for the Earth Institute at Columbia University. He served as the Health Systems Coordinator for the Millennium Villages Project, a multi-sectoral development project in 14 sites in ten African countries. Previously, Joel was based in Nairobi, Kenya where he was Technical Adviser to the director of the National AIDS Control Council focusing on management, policy and capacity building. He has also worked in South Africa, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia and Botswana on various HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, and health systems projects at the governmental and community levels and spent four years as a management consultant with the Monitor Group.
