The George Institute, China now able to host Fogarty International Clinical Research Fellows
The George Institute, China has recently been approved as a pre-vetted site for Fogarty International Clinical Research Fellowship applicants.
The purpose of the Fellowship program is to support a one-year, mentored research fellowship for clinical investigators from the United States or a developing country studying diseases and conditions in developing countries and to build international health research capacity in the developing world.
The Institute’s status as a pre-vetted site means that applicants aiming to complete their fellowship at The George Institute, China will have a simplified application process. Applicants whose research interests are compatible with the Institute will also be directed to The Institute to coordinate the development of their application.
The pre-vetted status was awarded following a review by a board of 19 investigators.
