Institute Youth Ambassador short listed as Young Voice in Research for Health
Dashiell Gantner was short listed for the 2007 Young Voices in Research for Health essay competition jointly sponsored by the Global Forum for Health Research and The Lancet. Dashiell wrote his essay - Health access inequities in post-communist China - while working as an AusAID Youth Ambassador with The George Institute, China.
The theme for this year’s Young Voices competition was "Equitable access: research challenges for health in developing countries". Entries for the competition are invited from young professionals under 30 working on or interested in the broad spectrum of research for health.
Dashiell’s essay has been published alongside the winning and other short listed entries in a compliation, Young Voices in Research for Health 2007, which is available from the Global Forum for Health Research website.
